The anti-Lanka protests are spiralling out of control across Tamil Nadu


Arrested students
More than 1000 students from 25 colleges in Chennai got arrested. They tried to stage protest in front  Raj Bhavan (Governor Maligai), Sri Lankan Embassy in Chennai and Chennai Meenambakkam Airport.

Students gathered near Saidapet bus stand and started their procession towards  Raj Bhavan (Govenor Maligai). TN police stopped them and arrested. Due to this surprise protest there was heavy traffic. On the same time more than 300 students tried to storm Sri Lankan Embassy in Chennai and got arrested by police. Also more than 500 students tried to storm into Chennai Meenambakkam Airport and got arrested.

Students organised themselves in 3 groups and staged their protest in respective places. Tamil Nadu police surprised to see more youths coming out on the streets. The anti-Lanka protests are spiraling out of control across Tamil Nadu with more apolitical youth and students coming out on the streets.
