Students' Federation For Free Eelam - SFFE staged their silent protest in front of The Triumph of Labour statue near Marina Beach, Chennai They protest against Sri Lanka for its structural genocide and against Indian govt. for supporting it.
They also demanded Sun group to drop Sri Lankan players in their Hyderabad Sun Risers IPL franchise. Students wore black ribbon closing their mouth and few students mock the sufferings of Eelam Tamils. Students Coordinator V Prabhakaran leads the protest, he said if our feelings and sentiments been continuously ignored we will stage lock out procession across all over Tamil Nadu.
